I've put in around 9 months of work on the player piano. The only thing now that needs attention is a source of suction to get the player working, either a new foot pump, or an electric suction box. The wind motor also needs replacing or repairing. Other than that, everything is in okay condition. I'm going to try and get this project done by Christmas, so I can surprise my cousins.
My Uncle Mark used to have a player piano at his place in Dallas, but when he moved to a new neighborhood several years back, they couldn't get it out the door. He sold it to someone and I believe it was indeed removed from the old house before the house was sold.
I hope sometime that I'll be able to see it again, but that probably won't happen.
